About the Nadcap approval status

Nadcap brings together technical experts from prime contractors, suppliers and representatives from government to work together and establish requirements for approval of suppliers using a standardised approach.

Unlike traditional third party programmes, approval is granted based upon industry consensus.

The Nadcap programme is administered by the Performance Review Institute (PRI). PRI schedule an audit and hire an approved auditor who will conduct the audit against an industry agreed standard using an industry agreed checklist.

At the end of the audit, any non-conformity issues will be raised and non-conformance reports issued.

PRI will administer close out of the non-conformance reports and upon completion will present the completed audit pack to a 'special process' task group made up from members of industry who will review it and vote on its acceptability for approval.

The list below contains Rolls-Royce suppliers who are fully approved for Nadcap Special Processes.

If you intend to use any of the suppliers identified against a particular process, for the first time, contact should be made with your Single Point Of Contact in Purchasing, to verify that the supplier holds the approval of the relevant Rolls-Royce business unit (e.g. Rolls-Royce plc, Rolls-Royce Deutschland or Rolls-Royce Corporation).

It should also be appreciated that suppliers will be required to initiate the Supplier Advanced Business Relationship (SABRe) source change process requirements, if changes in the use of a particular supplier are made.
